Sweeping across its path of destruction,
With its mighty lethal power,

It has no choice,
For the young and the old,
The rich and the poor alike,
Africa let’s rise against AIDS.
Brother! Sister!
AIDS is real,
AIDS is not any myth,
It’s here with us,
Africa let’s rise against AIDS.
Abstinence, faithfulness and use of
Condoms are the key to
Curb the spread of AIDS;
Africa let’s rise against AIDS.

Decimating our population
And if don’t listen, we will be wiped out
Listen, learn and live
About its origin, that’s immaterial
It strangles, annihilates and drains the body
It emaciates to the bone
Till the final knell of death

Listen to the three commands of life
If thou are not married, thou shall abstain
If thou cannot abstain, thou shall use a condom
If thou art married, thou shall be faithful to one wife
And if thou shall not follow commandment three, thou shall apply the second
Listen, learn and live.
Go ye, preach these to all Africa
And ye shall live!
